Recap of re:publica TEN –
Europe’s most exciting conference on internet and society

»Last week we had the chance to be part of three top-notch conferences in Berlin: re:publica, one of Europe’s leading conferences on digital culture and society, Media Convention Berlin, an international media congress, and Performersion, a festival of performing and immersive arts. The whole thing took place at STATION-Berlin, an impressive former railway maintenance area with several buildings. The range of topics within the three-days programme was massive: We got insights into recent developments in net politics, data privacy and mass surveillance. We discovered the latest trends in fashion e-commerce, financial technologies and social media marketing. We got in touch with people from Google for Entrepreneurs, ZDF, Factory Berlin, Uber, some promising media start-ups and other companies. And we saw ‘internet guru’ Sascha Lobo giving his comeback to the re:publica stage after his time-out last year!«
